With the World One Minutes, an exhibition presenting eight hundred one-minute movies from every corner of the world, the One Minutes foundation has grown from a simple, fixed-form artistic expression (anyone can make and contribute a movie provided it lasts exactly one minute) into an exceptional, emancipatory movement that goes beyond the limits of art. The (olympic) world one minutes exhibition was launched in june 2008, in advance of the olympic games in beijing. After its successful opening in Beijing the exhibition travels now around the world, it started in the Luigi Pecci Center in Prato.

The exhibition is still at the Gulbenkian museum in Lisboa and till 12 December at deBuren in Brussels. In March 2009 it will go to the Museu de Art in Sao Paolo end after that to the Townhouse Gallery in Cairo. In 2012 there will be a new (olympic) world one minutes exhibition in London.
